The
Winery

A warm welcome

Three siblings in the 3rd generation continue
with responsibility what has been passed on to them
- from the family and nature

Our roots

Old and new

In our new winery, a new building connects 3
old cellars in the Kellergasse with the outside world and
a place where we celebrate wine and taste.
taste. We combine old and new:
Without air conditioning, the wines in the cellar can be
traditionally vinified at a constant temperature of 15° and
rest. By the way, you can watch us at work
watch us at work: The airy new building allows
insights into our work and invites you to linger and
invites you to linger and taste.

Our

Roots

ORGANIC BY CONVICTION

We have learned a lot since converting to organic farming.
we have learned a lot. But we have known since day one
that it was the right thing to do.

Our philosophy

SEE THE WHOLE THING

We have been working strictly according to organic guidelines since 2013. In each row, we sow plants that loosen the soil, promote humus formation and ensure greater biodiversity. To protect the precious soil, we combine work steps so that we can use the tractor less often and cultivate the vineyards more gently.

Our

Path

"If you want to keep an eye on the big picture
you also have to look at tiny
small microorganisms."

Christian Gruber

"We have different tasks and different
different characters,
but one common goal:
To make authentic organic wines."

The

People

Maria Wegscheider

I want to make our winery and viticulture an open and transparent experience for more people. I have put my heart and soul into the redesign of our winery in recent years. The new building is an invitation to everyone who loves wine and nature as much as we do.

Ewald Gruber

My grapes and I need one thing above all: time. I follow the development of the wines with excitement - and a lot of patience, because I try to intervene as little as possible. Healthy grapes and clean work are essential for this. Nature does the rest.

Christian Gruber

My job is to look after and maintain the biodiversity in our vineyards. I pay particular attention to the sustainable cultivation of our most precious asset: the soil. It plays a particularly important role in organic viticulture and we want to preserve this treasure for future generations.
